This postcard is part of our tribute series honouring Munshi Nawal Kishore (1836–1895), the pioneering book publisher often called the “Caxton of India.” Designed from books in our collection published by a successor press of the Munshi Nawal Kishore Press, this particular piece takes inspiration from the 1979 edition of an Urdu translation of Kimiya-e-Sa’adat, a classic work by the 11th-century Persian scholar Imam Ghazali. It also features an image of a 1970 Indian postage stamp at the top, adding to its historical charm. Measuring 6 x 4 inches, this postcard is perfect for sending thoughtful messages, documenting reflections, collecting, or even framing as a timeless keepsake.
